1. What this is

Rewindy is a free tool that turns a music playlist into printable cards: a QR code on the front, the artist, title and original release year on the back. Scanning a card plays the official 30-second preview of that track. There is no account, no subscription and no purchase. Using the site means accepting what is on this page.

2. What this is not

• Not a shop. Rewindy generates a PDF. It does not sell, print or ship anything, and there is no checkout, so nothing here can be ordered, paid for or refunded.
• Not a music service. No audio is hosted or copied here. Previews are streamed from Apple Music and Deezer by your own browser, under their terms.
• Not affiliated with anyone. See trademarks below.

3. Using it

Rewindy is for personal use. Do not use it to break the law, to overload the services it depends on, or to produce cards you then sell as a product. Making cards for your own game night, your wedding or your classroom is exactly what it is for.

The public interfaces of Apple, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, MusicBrainz, Wikidata and Discogs are used within their own terms. Those terms apply to you as well when you import a playlist or scan a card.

4. Trademarks and affiliation

Rewindy is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Jumbo, Hitster, Spotify, Apple, Deezer, Google or any music rights holder. Hitster is a registered trademark of Jumbo Diset, S.L., and any other names on this site belong to their respective owners. They are used only to say truthfully what Rewindy is compatible with.

5. Your content and your cards

Playlists, pictures and decks you bring stay yours; they are processed in your browser and Rewindy claims no rights over them. A picture you use for the "your own design" style has to be one you are allowed to use. Songs remain the property of their rights holders — a card is a reference to a recording, not a copy of it.

6. Accuracy

The release year is the whole game, and Rewindy works hard at it: several sources are weighed against each other, and a song whose year cannot be confirmed is left out rather than guessed. Even so, no guarantee is given that every year is correct. Check anything that matters before you print three hundred of them, and correct a year in "My deck" whenever you find one that is wrong.

7. Availability

The service is provided as is, with no promise that it will stay available, keep working, or keep any particular feature. It depends on third-party interfaces that can change or disappear without notice — if Apple withdrew its preview endpoint tomorrow, scanning would stop working and there would be nothing we could do about it. Cards you have already printed carry the track ids and the year, so they remain readable by any future version.

8. Liability

Rewindy is free and is offered without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, there is no liability for indirect or consequential loss — wasted paper and ink included. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

9. Changes

These terms can change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.

10. Governing law

Rewindy is operated by Another Side Ventures FZ-LLC in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Emirati law applies, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence says otherwise — as a consumer in the EU, that protection is not taken away from you by this clause.
